[sighs] Ah, well. There was hope, at least!
<grins> This is what makes being a dumb pilot worthwhile - throwing odd problems at devs (problems which are sometimes at the user's end).

Do all missions have the background problem? Including available missions?
Aye, exactly as described above - this is the same run, but two thirds of a chart later.
If I disable BBS/CoBB the background displays fine on all sections of F4.

It occurs with other save-games in the same way - even on commanders that have never taken a contract.
As I said though, it is a trivial problem - and may well be something at my end.

OK, I think I've nailed the issue this time. New versions of the BB system and the Contracts On BB OXP's are now available via the download manager. If the issue persists, I really will be stumped!

Contracts On BB Version 0.9 now available, which can now include contracts from the [EliteWiki] In-System Taxi OXP.

[Edit] And v0.27 of the BB System is also now available. Some developer extras and consistency fixes.

Hi

Is there a way to order the missions by the number of credits?

Could I submit that as a feature request?

Thanks

Added to the list. And welcome aboard, commander!

New version of Contracts On BB has been released. In version 0.10:
  • More robust logic for connecting with Smugglers Black Market.
  • Added logic to remove passenger contracts after purchasing a new ship.

Plus a new version of the Bulletin Board System (v0.28). This version sorts non-accepted contracts by the payment amount.

Version 0.11 of the "Contracts On BB" OXP has just been released. This is a bug fix for the issue found by Balisongdalo and described in the Smugglers thread.

I've just released version 1.0 of the BB System. I think it's now pretty much feature-complete and stable, so it seemed like time for a version 1. In this version:
  • Added option to force the Bulletin Board interface screen to always be shown, even if no contracts are available.
  • Fixed bug where missions that do not have a specific system destination (ie 256) were always displaying a "Close to expiry" warning.
  • Turned on decimal place display on all credit value output.
  • Bug fixes.

[Edit] And, the "Contracts On BB" OXP is also getting an update. I've added the option of including mining contracts on the BB, from the "Mining Contracts" OXP by Diagoras. I think that covers all the multi-mission OXP's out there, the ones that offer missions through some form of F4 interface screen, but if I've missed one let me know. Because of this, I've also set the version number to 1.
  • Added contracts from the "Mining Contracts" OXP onto the Bulletin Board.
  • Fixed issue where the flag for converting In-System Taxi contracts was not being saved correctly in the save game.
  • Turned on decimal place display on all credit value output.

Hi phkb

The Download manager does not want to play ball when updating Bulletin Board, I get the following output in Latest.log

[oxz.manager.error]: Downloaded OXZ does not have the same identifer and version as expected. This might be due to your manifests list being out of date - try updating it.

Whoops! Forgot to update the version number on the manifest file. This should be fixed now. Thanks for reporting!

Version 1.2 has just been released. In this version:
  • Added expiry time in hours to the mission details screen.
  • When 1 day is remaining, it will now read "1 day" rather than "1 days" (same for hours, minutes and seconds).

I took a contract to Zaerla from bb
Zasoceat was marked instead, F5 shows this destination while bb still insist on Zaerla
OK, I've just uploaded a new version of Contracts On BB, which I think should fix the issue for any future contracts. Existing contacts I can't do much with, though. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for your help with this, montana05!

Just finished a quick test-run, looks great now. Thanks a lot for the quick response.

Just had a strange problem with the Contracts on BB interacting with Escort Contracts. I was following my trader into Witchspace and it misjumped me. I ended up in interstellar space and was immediately informed that the mission had failed because I hadn't completed the jump correctly (sigh). When I managed to get back to civilisation, however, I found that the mission was stuck on the BB in limbo, still active. Haven't been able to confirm if that's always true for a failed escort mission, or only if it fails in that specific way...
