I too am eager to see what hides below the tarp.

Just a quick render (about an hour to remember how to do cloth simulations...), as a test. I am contemplating illustrations...

Ooo... I know that shape! Took a minute to decide between two possible contenders, but yes, I'm pretty confident I've nailed it!

And yes, I like the idea of some illustrations.

Yup.. must be one hell of a droid, too.. that tarp's about as big as all the courses of the Preußen combined!

The only problem with illustrations, will come down to time. I will have to keep them as simple and basic as possible, as modeling actual docking bays, ship interiors etc.. would take an enormous amount of time.

But, I am still pondering... }:]

Perhaps a bit of a spoiler hunh? };] That was another worry and consideration about doing illustrations.

At first, it was to be Old Tom on a tractor type thingy, just pulling it off, but I have to keep reminding myself... technology!

I have a vague-ish idea of what I think the droid might look like. Maybe I will do a follow up... But that would delay the story... I wish we could re-arrange posts! };]

Indeed it is, my favorite so far (but I am really liking the War Lance now too!). However, I just couldn't justify him getting one of those (at least not this early in the game! };])!
