This is the first of my OXPs to break through the 300 download milestone so I'm very pleased to see it being well received.

Cool. I still think the ship ought to be updated to include the engine jets though...?

I have carried out some updating of this OXP which includes the repositioning of the rear laser as previously identified by Knotty.
I have also added a shader effect for the engine glow so that the engines get brighter as the ship increases speed.
It wasn't my intention to add exhausts as suggested by JazHaz however I'd be interested to know what the common consensus is on this option.

Cool. Has the OXP been updated on box.com? Do I just copy over the OXP or do I need to redo my player version, as I still fly the ship? Or is the player ship oxp "like_shipped" to the NPC version so the laser changes will copy over?

I've flown this ship since before the release of v1.77, so I haven't seen the new particle effect exhaust on my main commander (which is a shame). I wouldn't generally see the engine glows as I don't fly the ship viewing the ship on external views.

@ JazHaz thanks for getting back to me on this.
No I haven't issued the new version on box yet. I will issue the Aarachnid Mark 1 next week then move on to update the Serpent.
I will also look in to your query regarding the player versions and advise
I'll also have a look at the Serpent with exhausts.

I've been somewhat busy with real life over the last few months but it feels good to finally get my teeth back in to working on OXPs.
Following the release of the Arachnid Mark 1 earlier this week I've been looking at this OXP with a couple of updates in mind including investigating how the ship looks with exhausts.
Following these initial tests I must agree that the addition of exhausts looks good (So will be included in the next update).

The updated version corrects the position of the rear laser and also features exhaust plumes.

Great! Downloading now....!
Hope I have updated my player ship (separate OXP) properly. Had to re-edit the shipdata.plist because you changed the format. Too late at night to test though...

Loving the S C C I do think it is a bit cheap to purchase in V 1.01 though.

A trifling bug report that may refer to this ship.

It seems to have no bearing at all on my game play but thought I should mention it anyway
