Okay, now that ship is impressive... I'm going to have to take one out for a spin sometime...

Oh, well done!
I can just imagine the likes of Paris Hilton and Katie Price ordering one as a limo: "Oh, I've just
got to have one of those or I'll just die. In pink, of course." Maybe rock stars would have them, too.
"With an opening sun-roof too so I can wave to my fans."

THERE WILL BE A TEMPORARY LULL IN THE NEW SHIPS FROM MANDOTECH IND.. DUE TO A MAJOR CRASH, DUE TO THE STUPIDITY OF THE USER, MANDOTECH IND. LOST 25 SHIPS. THE SHIP OXPS ON BOX.NET ARE ALL THEY HAVE LEFT OF THEIR SHIP PRODUCTIONS. THERE WILL BE A REVIVAL OF OUTPUT, BUT WILL PROBABLY NOT HAVE ANYTHING NEW FOR A WHILE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN OUR SHIPS.
mandoman,
Mandotech Ind.
PS - We are not sure that any of this matters much, as none of our ships have yet been posted in the ship oxps ship list. Not sure why.

Sorry for your loss!

Maybe because you forgot it? And who else but you would be supposed to put your ships up in the Wiki?

"There are two kinds of computer user. Those who take backups, and those who have not yet had a catastrophic hard drive failure."
I didn't know they could be downloaded; I thought you were showing us a private collection from your Ooniverse.

Oh, they'll be back, and I WILL release them this time, instead of sitting on them like a hen. A couple of them I was trying to work out AIs, and Java Script, to get them to behave the way I envisioned. I suck at both of those areas at oxping, though, so I should have just chucked it. I have the pictures for every player ship I lost, so remaking them won't be a problem. It will be interesting to see how close I can come to the first versions.
I also got to restart the Oolite game. Man, it's a real challenge from the low end. I got too use to having money, and ships of all different kinds, LOL.

(a) I had forgotten how good the Beam Laser is. It goes for
ages before over-heating. A great piece of kit.
(b) You're going to love the Advanced Space Compass when you get it. Without it, it is like looking at the world through your letterbox and turning the entire house to see up the street. How can finding the sun be so hard?
(c) Flying with no missiles because they cost money, and I'd be heart-broken if one were ECM'd.
(d) "Shall I run away from these pirates? Hmm. Well, I'll need to sun-skim anyway before I leave, so, yeah, I'll burn 0.2 Credits of fuel to save my skin,
this time."
(e) Woo-hoo! Some asteroids! That's another 3 or 4 easy Credits in the bank.
(f) Free-floating cargopods! Nooooo! My tiny hold is already full... and I'll never find these cargopods again.
I've been really strict on myself: no OXPs that provide trading opportunities. It makes it clear that Elite is a
trading game, not a combat game.
