Now have a 'release candidate' for Finis, 63.5k. Making this two parter actually a 133k epic in total!
It will be sent to my proofreaders over the weekend. Thanks to all volunteers!
Two weeks of third party inspection, and then two weeks of final polishing and then... beer!
Cheers,
Drew.

Bravo - I would have loved to have been a proofreader, but this PhD Marking is eating into all my non-work time...

I wouldn't mind proofreading, but my English may not be up to the task - for instance, just three words ago I was (were?) in doubt whether to use "for" or "to".

2/3 proof readers in receipt of 'Finis' now. I'll still be tweaking in the meantime, but we're now closing on target.
Cheers,
Drew.

To keep you updated, I've just successfully jumped into Chapter 6.
Some points to raise, but nothing too major. Well on track for getting it done on-time.

Damn, if this is a race I'm falling behind. Just done chapter 3 and have sent my latest notes.
Just wait until the weekend. I'll hit the injectors then...

Nope, no race. Just an update for Drew.
Just I had the joy yesterday of an easyJet flight and a hotel night, so I got a fair bit done (and have the return flight in an hour or so to continue...). Plus I'm away this weekend so wanted to get it done ASAP.
It's better done right than fast.

I've gone for the two reads approach. Read the lot on one sitting on Saturday and have reported back, and will be reading again at a slower pace during the week. Cracking story!

No race fellas, but a deadline looms for the w/e of 3/4 December.
Great job so far.
Feedback so far has been positive, so hopefully a fitting conclusion to this adventure awaits everyone else in <checks website> 23 Days, 02 Hours, 55 Minutes, 17 Seconds.
Cheers,
Drew.

Two out of three proofreaders reported in. Changes incorporated - some good suggestions too! Overall story largely intact (phew!), looks like we'll be good for the 16th!
Cheers,
Drew.

And the third (presuming it's me you're waiting for, which I think to be the case given the time of your post and the time I hit send in Outlook) should now be in your inbox.
At least I hope it is - my ISP (Talktalk) seems to be having email fun and games at the moment...
