Dear all
This is a very special moment. The Cobra MkIII, the ship that defines Elite/Oolite, as you have never seen it before. Griff, I remain speechless after witnessing this Cobra in-game and again thank you so much for it.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Griff's Cobra MkIII as will be seen on Oolite v1.73:

And the show has just begun...

There's a lot of ships that are going to need a lot of upgrading.

Like I've said before, I cry sentimentally when I see that new Cobra MkIII by Griff...

How long did it take you to re-create the Dark Wheel cover shot A_C? did you have to hang around outside the station until a cobra III tried to dock or are there 'secret developer powers' involved? :)

Just debug console and a click of the button at the right moment. Funny thing is that I wasn't trying to get the FW cover recreation at that time, was only trying to get as many angles of the CMk3 as possible. This one turned out to have a very particular ambience to it.

Is there any chance you might have a higher resolution version of that screenshot saved away on your computer? I'd really like to turn it into my wallpaper, but my monitor is at 1680x1050 resolution...

I have uploaded a 1680x1050 trimmed horizontally image here (alternative download here), but it is somewhat pixelated due to the lower resolution of the original.

On a different note, I really like how the shaders are generating random paintjobs on the Cobras. It creates a very nice variety and sometimes even funny encounters.
This is a pretty normal Cobra:

And this is a Barbie Cobra:

Thanks for the laugh!!! Next thing is a "Hello Kitty" Python for Hesperus?
