That can't be a 1950s edition, though, surely ... it's got to be from the 1970s. It's 4-colour, for a start ... and apart from anything else there's a ribbon cable in there! :)

Hm, OTOH, I just bought a series of six books, inspired by Clarke's short stories.

All book titles refer one of his stories. And the main figure is a young woman.

Hint: the 'meta' title for all the books has a (real) planet's name in it.
