Indeed … looks like the Christmas rush has started!

A request for those with Modlike powers: for the duration of the current situation, where we're unable to actually delete spambots, can I ask that when you disapprove a spambot's attempt to post, you post a link to the bot's profile here? I will then slap a ban on them, which should stop them posting again, but as the list of undeleted bots grows longer it's getting harder to find them when I see them listed on the Moderator Control Panel …

Aye, will do! Your ban-hammer is needed too - had a very persistent bot posting last night.

Killing bots, day after day, week after week, year after year, becomes a trifle tedious - but at least there is a modicum of satisfaction in the never-ending process. This though is tedious in the extreme, with no satisfaction whatsoever! Still, it's doing wonders for the member count - up over two hundred now!

Just freezing a bot in its tracks does lack the visceral satisfaction of killing it outright …

After two unsuccessful attempts, reaching out to the Master & Commander, I just stopped nagging him. Sorry guys.
