Yu-Gi-Oh really seems to be more fantasy than SF, so I think I'm going to have to say no.

Iffy, since the virtual world part of it is known to the characters from the outset - what I was looking for was stories where the characters didn't initially know they were in a virtual world. But since I may not have made that clear at the outset, I'll accept it.

Truman Show and The Island - both iffy, because neither is a virtual world as such - they're managed man-made worlds based on big lies, but not virtual as such.

Maul, definitely.

Let's say that between them Truman Show and The Island count as one answer, given their similarities.

Tron. I don't think the humans realise at first that they are in a virtual world. But on the other hand the Viewer is so its not a twist.
EDIT: If not how about "Virtuosity"(although in this one for the most part the people know they are in a virtual world, But for the opening sequence the viewer does not)

I'll accept Virtuosity - the reveal of a virtual world was the sort of thing I was looking for. Tron is a bit marginal because as you say it's apparent to the audience from the outset what's happening when they enter the virtual world.

The one I sort of expected to see was Counterfeit World by Daniel F. Galouye, which has virtual worlds inside virtual worlds.

5 books, Movies, TV shows with time travel from the future to the present/past. Has to be a main feature and not just a one off episode. Back to the future would not count as that is the present going to the past. Terminator would count as that's the future coming to the present

I cannot confirm Pawleys Peepholes so I will have to take your word for it.
I knew 12 monkeys(obviously) and had heard of continuum but the books again were new to me. The list of books I have to check out keeps growing

"Pawley's Peepholes" is about a small town in the present day (or the 1950s, which was the present day when it was written) being overrun with intangible, but very visible, tourists from the future.

Another list of five, then: five named ship's computers, with personalities, with which one could have a conversation (even a limited conversation - but it has to respond to voice input, and be able to answer back). No more than one per fictional universe. No free-moving robots allowed. And this time, the examples have to be from TV. No books or films!
