These are fantastic. The third one, with the sun, the thin planetary crescent, and the Cobra's cockpit lights is pure art, and would make a splendid wallpaper …

Lovely atmosphere effects on rocky planets - should/do gas giants exhibit the same effect? Opinions? Any astro-boffins about?
