Timeless has spherical eyeball-ish time machines - a snazzy white one with LEDs, and a rackety tear-someone's-arm-off prototype - and very little else to recommend it.

The TV show Continuum had a sort of grapefruit-sized time ball thing which, when activated, snatched up whatever was nearby and hurled it into the past.

To come back to the list questions: 5 examples of mechanical/bio-mechanical/organic-mechanical entities with overwhelming powers, almost god-like in any SF franchise of choice.

E.g. I wouldn't consider HAL 9000 such an entity, but I would consider the Reapers in Mass Effect initial trilogy (the operational scale also matters, i.e. space/planets/timeframe).

Luckily, he didn't ask in what movie of the franchise this was present, as, although I watched them all mostly (still working on Solo: A Starwars Story), I cannot say I've spotted it myself on screen.
