I think I know what's wrong.

You need to edit the rock hermit from Griff's, not the standard rock hermit.

Hmm for some reason I now can't leave stations (get a blackscreen and can't do anything). Bizarre.

The crash on launching is related to the log errors relating to the coriolis station I suspect. I've had this before when tweaking things.
It looks like there is something missing from the shipdata.plist so have a look at that - the error message says line 486, so look there, but be aware the 'real' problem might be a few lines before that.

Just to be pedantic plists should be alphabetical so strictly 'script_info' should be near the bottom (under 's') so somewhere between 'roles' and 'subentities' if it has any. This won't stop it working, but keeping the plist alphabetical is tidier and aids de-bugging as things are easy to find.

Well it's all fixed. :D It appears the misplace of that line (doh :oops:) was what was messing with the launching as well. Thanks everybody. Just quickly before I go searching the BGS files, does anyone know what value Svengali uses for the main station launch animation?

Default values are 0.5, 1, 2, 3 or 5 if no shape is specified. A standard Oolite dock uses 3.

The script takes the integer of the docks boundingbox ratio (x/y or y/x), clamps the value to 0...4 (the length of the array of default values) and picks the shape from that array. Then it calculates the screen/window ratio (width/height) and adjusts the value (-0.5) if the shape is >1.1 to get a bit wider tunnel. Both parameters are passed to the shader.

Griff uses different sizes for the docks, so you'll get other values (Coriolis shape = 2, Hermit = 1, etc).
