Having seen some nice movie posters etc for it in the States recently, I'd love to see one of you shader-dudes skin up a nice Tron Legacy Cobra. Nice and dark, but with suitably neon-glowing decals in the line and circle stylie...
I had the same idea. This is how far I've gotten. Now RL is calling.

This is the wire base I used.

I hope to play around some more with your Pimp My Cobbra, Smivs. It's quite addictive.

Thanks - there is still some panel texture when you look at it in flight.

Yep, that was to be my next change. It took ages to find a suitable dragon for the decals on the top and bottom, but in the end I found one that was almost perfect: Image
I stripped away the edge and made the surround transparent to leave just the red and black.
Is that the Draconis Combine Dragon from FASAs Battletech?

@ DH - both came from the 'cafepress' collection of bumper stickers - I'd trawled through loads of sites before giving them a second thought, but was pleasantly surprised when I found the first. I then returned later to discover the second, near the end of their listing.

I particularly liked one of the stickers that says: "Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup". ...I was considering putting that on the back of my Cobra III... heh, heh, heh...
Very funny, Scotty, now beam down my clothes...

Not as flash as the ones you folks did, but it was fun to mess with it for a little bit. Neat OXP.

Tasty… for some reason, it brings to mind a pirate ship from Donaldson’s 'Gap Cycle'… the Captain’s Fancy.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Actually that moon texture would probably be quite interesting as the basis for texturing ships like the generation ships and the dredgers. Give the idea of years of trudging through space getting zapped by cosmic debris! (Apologies to FZ)
