Not that this old contrabandista has ever been involved in a bar-room brawl, you understand... no sir, not ever!

I'm having another one out tomorrow... arghh!
Here's to you, in anticipation (and with condolences):

Low growl, hackles rise
Starlit feline eyes, danger
Claws unsheath…
Furball!

Prolly need a new thread for this at some point, but I wanted to announce on the original thread, the release of Furball 1.0. I enjoyed the original so much, that I attempted to implement the commented-out features in the world script. One thing led to another and I've ended up pretty much rewriting, but I hope I've kept true to the original intent. I have tried to contact Caracal, but am still awaiting a response. I would like to think he would approve!
There are one or two things you can tune, but I'd like to get some feedback first on the vanilla configuration.
Works with Oolite 1.75+, and needs the Cabal Common Library

Forgot to mention, related the activation probability to system government type (very rare at corporate, very common at anarchy), and disabled furballs on launch from the station (this can easily be re-enabled by editing script.js). HTH, enjoy.

Caracal was last on the Forum 4 months ago (8th Jan to be precise) - but you never know - the email saying he has a PM might just wake him up (if he has the notification turned on, of course!)

That was only to change his password after the hack, though (I presume). I've had an uncollected PM to Caracal sitting in my outbox since last November, and there is no response to e-mails, even though his website is up and running.

I took the liberty of linking to it from Furball's
Wiki page.

Furball 1.1 is available:

This is just a port of the target scanning method that I have used in the Factions OXP and will make it easier for me to support both; it should not make any significant difference to the user experience
