Giles, I looked out for an appropriate sweatshirt but . . . we *were* quite a reasonable crowd.
And they do have decent beer down there - I had Bombardier but didn't have time to try the Angelic (6.3%).

Giles, Nigel, and Jonny,
It was great to meet you guys on Saturday - I had a great time.
Sorry it's taken a little while to write... I've been busy the past couple of days.
Whilst Ji-eun managed to not have the baby on Saturday during out meet-up she didn't last out all that much longer - that night at 3am she woke up with contractions. We eventually went off to the hospital at about 2pm, and eventually at 11:48pm little Thomas was born. Well, I say little, but at 8.45lb (3.762kg) he's not all that little!

Just hope you don't drink "The Dogs B*****ks". Stella, if its a girl, wouldn't be too bad. Not sure about Foster's, Budweiser or Grolsch for a boy though. Maybe John Smith's.

Surely that's little 'Spitfire'?:-)
Congrats, Steve & Ji-eun!

Right on commander!
Congratulations to you, Ji-eun and "Little" Thomas Mac John Smith SteveSims Junior! For the record, all being well, I shall join the club on 9th March 2005 (you'll all be the first to know, of course... well...except my parents, my brother, her parents, cousins, aunts... ok ok...so you'll probably be the last to know but tough luck!).

Thank you all for your kind words.
Whilst it was tempting to name my child after a beer (or three) we had already chosen his name several months ago. I don't think Ji-eun would have been too impressed with the idea of calling our child Spitfire anyway.
Thomas and Ji-eun finally came home yesterday evening, and so I had my first disturbed night's sleep.
With a bit of luck I'll still be able to play Oolite from time to time, although I fear it's going to be several more months until I can afford that Fer De Lance now.
