I'll better start testing mfds and see how they work. By the look of it, they'll be well suited for linking with the asc and showing the distances, but for comparing markets they might not do the job as there is a lot of information to be shown.

I suspect scrolling would be in order, yeah.

It does kill you if you are looking at a screen while you dock with a planet... Not sure about stations. The problem I have with looking at screens rather than the display is that if I happen to be attacked... I won't know it. (I play with it muted to avoid disturbing my family, so sound effects don't help.) But then, the f8 screed does the same, so...

Hi, downloaded it, but I can't open the interface with F4. Do I have to install any device before using?

After you start a game, you have to launch once as the majority of oxp stations are spawned on launch. If you have done this and the interfaces still don't show then I'll have to dig deeper.

Market Inquirer has been updated for Oolite 1.79. In-flight mission screen has been replaced with an MFD and in-flight station market hack from (f8) has been removed. Prime equipment with shift-n and browse commodities with b and n.



Get it from the expansion manager.

A big update 1.10. This is for all you fellow traders out there in space.

* MFD element has a price tag of 1050 credits. Available from selected TL5 or higher stations.
* A link to Market Observer, if present.
- Reference prices and purchase log are shown in the MFD.
- High-Low reference prices get updated from Market Inquirer too. Update them all from the f4-interface when docked or from the MFD while browsing the markets.

Market Inquirer (1.11) for Oolite trunk (1.81). If Market Observer 3.x is present, Inquirer shows systems' average and purchase log in the MFD. Currently only the markets of Stations for Extra Planets are shown by the Inquirer 1.11. I'll ponder about adding others when their markets get upgraded.

Version 1.12 (compatible with Market Observer 3 and Oolite 1.82) has been added to the manager.

Markets accessible via Inquirer are the main market, stations for extra planets stations and kiota stations. These all are generic type of stations, have big markets and can be situated quite a long way from the wp. To my reasoning, they are likely to broadcast their market information to attract traders.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I managed (having forgot I had the OXP installed, and the equipment on my ship) to get the in-flight display up and now . . I can't get rid of it. So a green box reporting prices is permanently on my view screens. How do I turn it off please?

Press ";" until this MFD will be highlighted (depending on your HUD you can have 1-16 MFDs), then press ":" until disappear (1-10 times depending on how many MFD-provider OXP you have).
