Maybe there is a way to autocolour, autovariate images? In that case you have only to do the main races and then let some image-generator make variances. See pioneer, and OpenTTD for example.

We can tint images easily. I'll put together a quick example.

When you take a closer look you'll see that the pic is not done properly as there's some noise on the right shoulder, but it's good enough to show the possibilities.

Yep I see, but in a firefight you probably won't have time to search for noise in a pic.
