It really seems to come in waves these days. There are times when the "Number of users online" rises up past 50 or 60, you just know there are spambots battering at the gates. When the bots all but died away earlier this year, I had thought that Google's Panda Slap had killed off content spamming, but apparently it's still worthwhile to some of the vermin out there. Either that, or people now pay to spam-link to competitors' websites, to bring down the Panda Slap on them. Or maybe it's just that The Stars Are Right.
