A screenshot from today's flight in which, by the way, I finally reach the 1000 kills milestone - just 5400 more for that Elite rating

<grins> Only another twenty-one ROCs to go!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is ROC, Cody?

Sorry, I should have been clearer - you get a Right on, Commander every 256 kills!
Twenty-five ROCs is the big one - and I'm currently at forty-five!

I can remember getting ROCs with the C64 version (not knowing what it meant!), but not with Oolite.
But what really impresses me is the lighting in the picture. I always felt that the station parts that are on the shadowy side, or the whole station when the sun is blocked by the planet, should be much darker.
"You wouldn't kill me just for a few credits, would you?" – "No, I'll do it just for the fun!"

Some have the lighting set lower (or higher) than the default - for example,
ambient_level = 0.2;
is my preferred setting.

That's what I was looking for! I'll experiment with the value, and perhaps I'll need Norbys headlights if I choose a dark setting.

I knew it, I already have changed the file. Probably I should make a personal OXP some day instead of directly changing the core plists...

Create a new folder within
AddOns
named
Config
, C&P selected core plists into it, then tinker to your heart's content.
