I have a Drupal system on my web site that had about three account requests per day by spammers. I have been wondering for a few weeks what I must have changed as they have stopped coming in completely.

Similarly, I am getting very few spam emails to my various domains, too.

A glance at the news stories doesn't show up anything obvious as to why they've gone quiet.

Single individuals can have a huge effect on the spam front (see here, for instance: 'Researchers Identify Notorious Botnet Operator Codenamed "Google"'. Perhaps a prolific spammer has fallen in front of a bus. It's a happy thought, at least.

No hits on SFS or Google, but:
A person from the Czech Republic working as a human and interested in dancing. Nope, don't think so.

Profile says it all, and google reveals more. Several suspect profiles out there with the same user name.

Several suspicious forum memberships via Google, and a few hits on SFS.

We can't let a whole month go by without something being posted in this thread!

How about this one...

I mean who would be a bounty hunter in an Adder? Got to be fake

But I am interested in how many don't get through and get deleted before they become visible to us in the member list?

Well he joined in 2004 and last visited in 2006!
Either he is what he seems or he's what the spooks call a 'sleeper', and if he is, that is one serious snooze. :D

I wouldn’t want to give away his secret identity, but you’ll note he’s user #2.
