Aye - but it's a start.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Filled with giants, dwarves, monsters and ghosts, Twin Peaks most resembles a modern fairytale written on LSD then heavily redacted by the CIA.
<sniggers> It's happening again!

When I die, I'd like to go like my Uncle Trevor - peacefully, fast asleep. Not screaming like his passengers.

If you want to find the Magic Money Tree, try looking in the Forest of Tax Evasion.

It now takes 38 hours and 15 minutes for a radio signal to make it to Voyager 1 and back to Earth, a period of time that is both remarkable and terrifying: we think that the Universe is about 27 billion light years across, but we're just 19 light hours into it.

Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is.

Haven't we had that one, great though it is?

I propose this alternative (not that i am quoting anybody): the space of possibilities is big - bigger than you thought it was . .

Weighing in on a longstanding religious war among software developers, community site Stack Overflow has found that developers who use spaces to indent their code earn more than those who use tabs.
For some strange reason, I find this highly amusing!

From the UK government's own website:
Despite European leaders’ attempts to leave open the possibility of the UK remaining in the UK, Mr Davis will make it clear that he is determined to achieve a Brexit deal that works for the whole of the UK.
Apparently, the UK government is determined that the UK will leave the UK, whether Europe wants us to or not. How glad I am that we have such keen intellects on our side, with such a laser-like focus on key details. In even better news, I believe they are planning to hold some big alcohol-related festivity in a brewery …

Edit: some Government flunky eventually noticed and corrected the error, after it had been pointed out by most of the rest of the planet …

It's the satirists I feel sorry for, really. Can you imagine trying to write something like The Thick of It now?

I'm not sure what that quote relates to, but I was very impressed by the Queen's hat yesterday - who would have thought she would make such a bold political statement!
