I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

I may be out the loop for a little bit - I'm having a very strange problem with my Vermin Mediocre Broadband - I'm getting full 10Mbit/s D/L but only (if I'm lucky) a few 10s of K bit/s U/L - I've tried HTTP, FTP, various speedtest sites - ping's good 6-20ms to the test sites, D/L good 9-9.8Mbit/s but they all time out trying to upload. Modem and router reset, still FUBAR...

Welcome to an African Internet Café, where it will take up to 15 minutes just to open your webmail account site.
Only that parts of Britain now belong to Africa, too!
Anyway, I'm feeling your pain, DaddyHoggy.

Not really. Most places I was at were never connected to that high-speed cable in the first place. That's why they had this pathetic bandwidth in the first place.

Looks ok from an email and IP point of view
Found a couple of very close user names on sfs for this one,
nothing to see here...
It probably is clean but it won't do any harm to check.

Just to let folks know, I'll be away and offline for the next few days – back on duty on Sunday though!
