yes i ended up on a pretty cool youtube video for the song, an excellent animation with space whales and stuff (ah wait, i just read that's a clip from Disney) , i clearly don't know al stewarts music though as from the name i could have sworn he was a smooth jazz/soul guy, will have to check out more of his stuff, from the clip you posted i was thinking it might have been some sort of british 60s tv show, had that sort of feel, like the avengers or randall and hopkirk or something

He's made a lot of good albums. Hard to say which is best, but Year of the Cat is right up there.

Stephen Baxter's Raft, I'd imagine. Some humans are thrown into an alternate universe where the gravitational constant is huge, and people can live on asteroids because they retain atmosphere. Unfortunately they also attract eachother and eventually form planets, then suns, etc. etc. over a span of months.

Another list, then: give five science-fiction gods or entities/objects worshipped or revered as gods/godlike/more-than-merely-natural beings, from five different SF universes. These entities should have some sort of cult or following; the Xeelee or the Culture Minds might be at least mildly godlike in their powers and abilities, but nobody actually worships them or deems then to be in some way supernatural.
