I gave the same treatment to the Salvager Gang base and it's not so easy to spot between Griff's asteroids anymore. Look's like there will be an update to the Anarchies facelift in the future.

How does this work with the tunnel in the asteroid? Is it convincing to launch into the tunnel from this?

Hmmm. A fair point. In my imagination, when docking, the ship is transferred through a tunnel of a some sort from the launchpad/dock to some inner hold. An like wise when launching, the ship is first transferred through a tunnel from hold to the launchpad/dock and then launched in to the exit tunnel.

You could always read Lazarus available in Alien Items - for an interpretation of how docking/launching works... http://www.drewwagar.com/books/alienitems/

In case you didn't know, Lazarus is also available here, DH.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

No, I didn't know that! That must happened during one of my extended leave of absences - cool. Who set that up and why? Excellent idea!

DH, I have to read that story again, I suppose :).

Here's a picture of moving into the asteroid tunnel upon launch. I think it's quite nice.

Ah, there was a contact made via the WordWatchers website that now rings a bell - Lazarus needs a cover, if it's going to be on that site!

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
