seeing as the theme is movies of books.....

1980's sci fi movie, "dreams change reality" title of movie and if you name the original author i will even refuel the Slipper before setting autopilot to your current planet of residence.

i acquired a eBook of shards of honour last night.... just checked Goodreads and this is the book the author suggests starting with, followed by Bayararrararraa or however its spelled..lol

Google says... wrong. There are five books, but the answer is a little more involved.

There may be a popular online encyclopaedia which will give a definitive answer in return for a little study.
