Cool! And I see, the Duke is still active in the far future.
I'm curious - did you survive this??

Yeah, I somehow managed to survive although the repair bill was horrendous.
Luckily there was a fuel station nearby. I had to refuel four times!

I'm impressed that you managed to refuel under fire!

(and four times, no less)

kudos 8)
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

I also once tried to "refuel" while I was under fire (to be honest, I tried to hide inside the fuel station and hoped some cops would appear when the baddies hit it) - but it didn't work, they blew the fuel station away, and if I remember right, I was next :D (I had no Iron Ass Cobbie back then, and either no injectors or they where damaged)

I didn't refuel under fire - that would be impossible IMHO.
The fuel station was near enough that I could get there, refuel, and then get back to the baddies.

A Q-Bomb also helps. You won't kill the baddies but they run away and break up so you can slowly kill em one by one.

Some more recent pictures:

1. "Atomic Annie" about to doc with the Erenanri Coriolis station in G2.

2. "Set controls for the heart of the sun..." - A shot of "Atomic Annie" departing Erenanri en route to Arorar and Aanan.

3. A rendezvous between "Atomic Annie" and the Aanan station navigation beacon.

4. Anacondas on Parade - "Atomic Annie" (foreground) flying in company with "Tomorrow Midnight" (foremost in formation) and her escorts.

5. Black humour is obviously a common trait among Anaconda pilots :-)

I had the black / matte black version of that bike. The black / orange one was not imported in my country. :)

Oooh man! *bumps his head against wall* - you are right!!!!

I should have known!!!

My brother once had the exact same bike!!! And Deadpool reminded me of the bike (because I knew the bike before I knew Deadpool)!

Cool!! :D

I was going through some old screenshots when I found this - the last moments of a wonderfully-named Krait.
