There is some kind of blue swish (for a lack of a better description) just above the start of the energy beam in a lopsided U fashion extending up into and through the first wing of the Elite badge. Is that meant to be there or did someone spill the paint?

And while we're being picky the 'starbird' is now off-centre (to the right).

I have noticed something a bit odd with the latest few new members who have not yet posted. This might warrant a new look at them, although I still believe they are genuine users on the forum. If this post is unjust, my humblest apologies to those mentioned. DH and/or Disembodied, if after a second look, this post is off the wall, please delete the user-names in question from this post.

Now the odd part: They all show up on a few other forums, but they also have a youTube profile showing up on the first page of a google search and other simelarities. The similarities in search results on these users is what has triggered this post. It's like a bot is ripping off user-names from youTube. Again, this is just a hunch.

Edit: Have been digging into these a little more. Trukkle is an old Elite player, and thus my conclusion is that he's definitely a genuine user. (Humble apologies if you read this Trukkle).

I took it out of the original long version of the image, but forgot to when I redid the smaller one - it's so faint that GIMP thinks its completely transparent which is why I forgot to erase it the 2nd time.

I have fixed (again) locally, but I have no wish to try Aegidian's patience so soon, so the new request to upload will have to wait...

Ah heck, just post it here and I'll upload it forthwith.

Must set up someone with a trusted FTP account...

500 hits on SFS for the IP address ... banned that too. There were several other "NameLETTERnumber" names, all from the same IP, waiting email confirmation.

And the brain-in-a-jar is right into the swing (of the katana) of it in a few scant days - good man/brain!
