But then there are those of us who have to deal with these Hollywood types who want to govern... sort of a captured audience I guess. My local Congressman is a former Rock Star (JOHn Hall from Orleans: "Dance With Me," "Still the One"). Can't be much worse than the solicitors who run things now. At least more entertaining.

Don't worry, Doc. I'm all over him.

*Edit* How about encouraging all new members to add Oolite to their Interests. That'd make spam-plinking that much easier

Oolite tops in my interest profile. As a matter of fact, yes, if I saw everyone else jumping off of a bridge, I'd have a go.

Jeez - old snickers_wombat was certainly prolific - I hope we don't see more of his botty kind - I logged on earlier and almost every forum had an unread message on it - but they were mostly S_W carp.

Oh, and of course the million postings each 100 lines long concerning what I shall refer to in future (if I ever refer to it again) as simply "the Sung Incident"

I don't know you wander away from your machine for 24 hrs and come back and its all that little bit different - bots getting on every forum - the BB having its first (that I've seen) proper falling out.

Will shut up now as this is the spam reporting thread - I just wanted to know if more could be done to protect the BB - the Cap'n and Reills must be having a field day and I can just about make them out in the heat haze coming from their rifle barrels - but stopping the bots at the gate must be easier than shooting them once they're over the fence and cr@pping on the lawn, coz you've still got to go out with the pooper-scooper.

Ok you're from france but your name is Duncan Brewer (yes terribly french), and you've got a dead link to a forum about guitars (dzug is a .org not a .com), and no interests - you'll be a bot then me old son...

and if they can't think of anything "Not a spam bot" would suffice! :)

I agree. I don't want to interfere with the fun you have with hunting bots, but on the other hand it's a shame to have their droppings stinking up our bb while we wait for the scat-Terminators.
