Great work guys, reminds me of the silver ship from The Phantom Menace with its' swoopy lines. Like the texture. Excellent work Smivs! :D
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Could you make the veins glow with an emission_map? If so it may be doable to vary the glow colour (emission_modulate_color) via script to simulate pulsing. It could pulse very slowly normally, and more rapidly in combat. Not sure how effective it would look in practise, but might be worth a try?
Nice idea, Capt. Murphy :)
The glow is easy to do, and looks cool.

I'll have a look at scripting the emission_modulate_color as pulsing would be nice too. As I type this the wiki is down again ( ) and I'll need to research this, but I'll keep you all posted on this.

At least for research you can use the backup.

A Kirin-XM waiting in the long docking queue at Lave.

Doesn't look like it will fit...

Well, that's the easy bit...

I wouldn't want to dock one of those manually.

Ditto, but I just had to fly Shipbuilder's Colonial Viper... a sweet fighter. I wonder where Frame is at with his Omega-class destroyer?
Its sort of done... it will make an appearence in the Phoenix OXP that im trying to get done..
Got the story outlined and all. Just working now the last pirate ship to make an appearence
and something else that would give away the story if i told you :).

Cool!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Re the -5TC cargo capacity.
The cab shown is (I believe) from the Taxi Galactica OXP, and I note from your post here that you have both this and my 'YellOo Cabs' OXP installed.
Early versions of my 'YellOo Cabs' OXP did have a -5TC capacity to prevent the selling of the passenger berth, but this exploited a bug within Oolite which was fixed for Oolite v1.76.
v2.0 of YellOo Cabs fixed this by preventing the sale of the berth by script, and as you have v2.0 installed you are OK as far as my OXP is concerned, but I wonder if Taxi Galactica was using the same Oolite bug for the same reason. If so, it might not have been updated to work correctly with Oolite v1.76.x .

Ah-ha! It's Dertien's Z_Groovy YellOo Cab Variety Pack.

Looks like an old version as the max_cargo is set to zero.

Thought it was originally to do with the new cargo space code in 1.77

Ah, that'll be it. I always forget about the Z-groovy version! (No offence, Dertien :) )

That taxi is much better looking than my one haha! Though I could do with a better looking Taxi, perhaps one using the Griff Adder model and a retexture? The Taxi Station is also quite dated and old looking, but I can't bring myself to replace it as it reminds me of the old Constores (well it is an old Constore haha!)...

While you were away, Dertien also got at Taxi Galactica and published a version with the taxi station based on the Griff constore. It looks good. He's not interested in scripting though, so it still has the old, broken script. See his website.

Am I the only person a bit confused about these Taxi Stations? I'd think you'd take a taxi to the planet from the main station, or vice versa, or from the main station perhaps to another system. These Taxi Stations are free-floating in space, so how do you get there if you need a taxi? Is there a bus service or something?
