@Doc - I downloaded within the last hour...
what did you have to fix?
Just to let you know that it appears to be working fine - for me that means oolite runs with yaw oxp installed!
Hooray!
I shall download again.
I'm gonna swap the Oolite BB for voodoofoone in my local copy....
EDIT: BTW, it runs much better, loads quicker, hyperspace ends quicker, no glitches or pauses - fab! Nice one! PS Understand what you were saying earlier about trashing all your previous hardwork but it would seem that so many more (LB being the first) can now load this fantastic oxp...
PPS - Still no sign of a Tescoo Oxpress but its early days yet

There was some mess-up with the commodities.plist which seems only to want to point toward the first role given to an entity - Which actually mean that I may finally have found what kept me from assigning a commodities list to the different commie stations
So glad to hear that everything works for you now. I haven't counted, but it's obvious that you rank among the top contributors to this oxp. I'd rather throw away a lot of work than the entire expansion.
The Tescoo/Pi-42 distribution is controlled with roles to reflect the constant battle between the two corporations for the souls of the local shop keepers.
The few test runs I've done today all went to systems that had Tescoo controlling the Convenience stations at that time.

So we'll be looking at Commies 1.9a then?
I counted 14 Ads in the current set of 100 (3 from the original 48 ) which means I had some serious creative splurge in what would have been the 2nd 48. Of course locally I've got 15 Ads...
And of course you've helped me spread further by producing the Oo-Hauler which allowed me to make the Tescoo Bulk Carrier (TODO: sort out cargo on TBC so I can release oxp!) and the Pi-42s allowed me to make Tescoo Oxpress - so to be honest I've had a wail of a time!
Snoopes is on going and I've got my "theOO" asps to finish retexturing (although they really will look like cardboard cut outs compared to Sung's recent work! will have to try quite hard!)
I'm glad Oops made it in - I had to colour the individual pixels by hand on the shiny part because although I've got PSP7 I can't really use it very well - so it took me 2hrs!

I think the work you did on Oops was well worth it.
Re L-Crate Haulers
Oo-Haul is at the back of the queue atm - I still haven't even tried out the solution LB suggested yet. I'll come to it in time.
Re Commies
Might even go for 2.0 if I get my Astromine model finished. It'll be simple stuff.
I don't think that we should be embarrassed to release models and textures that reflect our skill levels. I still fell like a complete n00b in the world of 3 modeling and texturing and much of my oxp'ing relies on storytelling to cover up laziness and lack of coding skills. Even if I have put a lot of hours into my OXPs I've still cut a lot of corners
As I've said before: Others are quite welcome to improve on any model, texture or plist I've made. They are really placeholders for ideas that more skilled people can pick up and make to shine.

Every now and then, the BB hicups when you post a reply and comes up with an error dialogue, saying unable to post, in fact it does actually make the post although it tells you it hasn't. The natural reaction for a trigger happy Elite commander is to hit the fire button again, my apologies!

That's why I love this game and BBS.

@TGHC: It wasn't about your double postings. I think suggestion to use the Oolite BB graphics was made a lot earlier in this thread, and assumed that it might have been you that made the suggestion back then too.

If someone want to take this and make it look a little better, that's fine by me. I'm not much of an artist but I had a great idea:

Judebert did one with the same text for the first set though (Boyracer phreak attack).
You don't need to be an artist to submit ads for yah.
Just do it - as they would say at Nooke.
Edit:

@Doc - nice Ads - I like Booger King (funny old thing!) and Starbugs is a nice twist that gets away from the "Oo" that could have so easily been done!

Besides, you only get an 'Oo' with Typhoo

I was going to do:
Bee & Qoo
Specialists in DIY ship modifications
The Boyracers wettest dream
But Roberto's gripe has made me reconsider - I'm going to have a think about some of the other alternative corporations (although this may also upset Roberto as they're not part of the Oolite/Elite Ooniverse either)
I'd quite like to do the one from Firefly/Serenity (some of those ships would be really nice too!)
