Looking at the fact that the sites for forum and wiki still show the old icon and that we do not have admin access to change them,
I think of possibilities to wrap them.
Might it be better
not to?

I can now finally distinguish between Oolite.space and the other two!
I do not mind taking an educated decision.

Slight issue in the website: The news item from April 10 on the right hand side of the page which announces the new nightly builds points to
https://github.com/OoliteProject/oolite ... tag/latest. This link is now void, as it has not been updated since October 15th. I think the news item should be edited to simply point to
https://github.com/OoliteProject/oolite/releases.
The exact same change should be made to the Download page, Nightly Builds section.

New Issue:
we now have three OXPs on the
oolite.space expansions table which were supposedly updated in 1970!
Since Oolite only dates back to 2003...

1970 01 01? Isn't that something to do with Unix time?

That field is labelled 'updated' and internally is the 'upload date'. This in general can be obtained on the web by looking at the 'last modified' header for the download url.
The servers hosting these three expansions do not transmit that header. Therefore the upload date is unknown but someone decided to display 'unknown' by the unix epoch which is 01. jan 1970.

Hi,
Is there a way to load extensions list on Mac version 1.90?
What file you need to edit to point app to new url (addons.oolite.space/api/1.0/overview)?

Greetings and Salutations!
Welcome to the merry throng!
There's two threads here
Simpler:
Expansion pack download still failing - ah . . with Mac-relevant gubbins at the bottom. You will need X-code loaded...
Complex:
Enabling Expansions on MacOS with 1.90 - but with simple alternative at the top
And there is Hiran's alternative - Oolite Starter (advertised on the first thread, and also on Oolite.space)

New problem!
This is from Balisongdalo who has been locked out of our BB
He wants to have a stab at Phkb's Hermitage OXP which needs Smugglers.oxp, but:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Oolite/comments/18ozg3y/discord_channel/ wrote:My problem is that I cannot activate hermitage oxp, because on the oolite title screen it asked for Smugglers The Galactic Underworld
but I've already installed it via the Oolite Starter program.
I've done a manual oxp of Smugglers on the add-on folder but same result as it asks for smugglers on the title.
I made sure I have no existing oxp conflicts on the oolite starter app. I've also used the oolite oxp manager with the work around method from the forum, but the game crashed for me twice after installing many oxp's.

Youtube Videos
YouTube have started removing videos linked to Oolite.org (see
https://www.reddit.com/r/Oolite/comment ... rg_domain/)
Oolite.space "Expansion Packs" page
The sorting mechanism on Oolite.space is giving very peculiar results on my AppleMac - a partial sort with associated gobbets abandoned hither and thither.
And there are still three 1970 dates of addition to the Expansions Manager.

AFAIK they are sorted by publishing date.
If you go to the end of the table and click 'All' you see all the expansions. Scrolling down again you can see three expansions that are claimed to be published at the start of the
epoch.
The reason behind is that the publishing date is taken as the last-modified date delivered by the server together with some specific expansion. This ensures that even removing, then uploading the same file again can be detected as fresh publishing event. The disadvantage is that two servers do not deliver such a timestamp at all, and thus all three expansions provided by the two servers are treated to have a "null" publishing date (see
NULL).
For reasons unknown to me the website treats a NULL like a 0 (zero), which is then translated to zero seconds after the epoch and that date is visualized.

Do not change the sort order, but leave the field empty.

This is hopefully a one-time problem.
How about just correcting some of the problems highlighted on the
https://ooliteproject.github.io/oolite- ... index.html and then re-uploading?
But the other problem seems much greater, destroying the functionality of the ordering of the page, making it more difficult to find
all of timer's OXPs, or
all of the Ambience OXPs or to put things reliably in alphabetical order.
Is this ordering business only a problem for my AppleMac?

No, it's not just you. Only the default, publication date, sorting works properly. Clicking on the other column headers produces nonsense.

Such things cannot be fixed on that side. OoliteAddonScanner creates
raw file (data only) and pushes that into the website. This data is formatted, sorted and displayed in the user's browser. The formatting and sorting code is contained in some javascript file as part of the website.
If someone wants to take a look, it must be somewhere in here:
