Hmm, I can get 1024x768 in fullscreen using the obvious (now!) tactics, but haven't found any widescreen aspects that work yet. Will experiment some more . . . Ian.

In fact 1024x768 is as far as smiggy gets too.

By the way, googling showed that there are some issues with OpenGL Full Screen mode and
certain widescreen resolutions. My 1400x900 works fine though.

Well apparently I got 1360x768 (yeah 1360 is a weird number), but after a few minutes' play I got some nasty DRM errors and had to resort to the magic SysRq . . . ;)
I'm not sure what resolution it REALLY was, because I thought the screen looked a bit fuzzy, and some horizontal lines were missing from the HUD (like after reducing window size). Still, at least I understand a little bit more now,
