Did you intentionally make that hard to read or have I been sitting behind the computer for too long? (A calibrated EIZO, so that rules out me having set up something wrong...)

It's supposed to be a hip, funky night for the youngsters, so the text is cleverly constructed so that old people can't read it.
Unfortunately that means no one (including the DJ) will actually be there

Actually, it's carefully crafted to be unreadable by GalCop's hyperwave detector ships' auto-scanners.
They don't take kindly to 'pirate' radio stations, for some reason.

For a moment I felt slightly offended, but then I realized we're all (well, most are) pretty old geezers around here

It also means that dyslexics, colour blind people and sight-impaired people will not be able to attend.

See how the Oolite BB has become discriminatory? No longer can it be called the friendliest Board this side of Riedquat.

Mind you, colour-blind and sight impaired people shouldn't be let out into space in command of a ship...

"Can you read that ship's registration to me please?"

"Ship? What ship?"

"I see..."

"Good for you, that's more than I can do..."

In the system, the excitement is mounting. Ships are arriving from all across the Eight, their pilots willing to pay exhorbitant prices for a ticket to the show. The management of DS’s Seedy Space Bar have laid on extra staff, and wish to assure people that there is room enough for all.

Meanwhile… dirtside, the local inhabitants are a bit puzzled by all the fuss.

Smivs has picked up his mate Boff and is en-route. Only two systems away now - plenty of time to get there.

Hi PG,

my translator is fixed - so if I make it to this one I'll return yours.

Good night last night, sorry about the mess (of the bouncer).

Splendid millet.

Hope Diane is less emotional this morning?
