Ra is the smallest planet in chart one, which means it has the shortest route from WP to station. Although there are no guarantee's, it does mean you may bump into fewer bad guys. Unless, of course, that is what you want to happen.PhilHibbs wrote:My ideal milk run would be a very close Poor Agricultural to Rich Industrial with one being an Anarchy. Any of these? I'm using Ra (Poor Ag) and Quator (Mainly Ind Anarchy) at the moment.

Depending on how system populator adds npcs, the shortest route from WP to station may have roughly the same number of pirates as any other anarchy...just "compressed" together, so they may be within radar radius of each other. This can mean you'll have to fight multiple pirate groups at once if you inject near the first group you see.CaptSolo wrote:Ra is the smallest planet in chart one, which means it has the shortest route from WP to station. <chortles> Now that's what I call a milk-run - sweet!Switeck wrote:... so they may be within radar radius of each other. This can mean you'll have to fight multiple pirate groups at once...
I'm sure you are correct and it seems a logical development. It's only my experience that says different which is, of course, purely subjective.Switeck wrote:Depending on how system populator adds npcs, the shortest route from WP to station may have roughly the same number of pirates as any other anarchy...CaptSolo wrote:Ra is the smallest planet in chart one, which means it has the shortest route from WP to station. Or for a shameless plug, my OOliteInfo program:El Viejo wrote:To find the sweet-spot of your choice, spend a little time with the zoomable Vector Maps, published by Clym&Angus - astrocartographers of renown!PhilHibbs wrote:My ideal milk run would be a very close Poor Agricultural to Rich Industrial with one being an Anarchy. It could also mean that there's more traders in close proximity and they beat some of the pirates (more) quickly. You probably also fight from long range and thus don't get close enough to trigger multiple pirate groups at once. Initial conditions of a system only matter if they stay that way.CaptSolo wrote:I'm sure you are correct and it seems a logical development. Well I was going to say Galaxy 1 but I just did the first mission so now I'm in G2. But it's not really relevant any more as I'm making most of my money on gold and gemstones deliveries.Rese249er wrote:Which galaxy?
