So, having had a look at your website (I notice the most recent games are from 2010),
the Russifications I linked above are
OXPs - not
rewrites of the original game. (OXP = Oolite eXpansion Pack, OXZ = Oolite eXpansion pack Zipped - these came in with Oolite v.1.79 in 2014)
As are the other language versions - and a_c, who wrote the Italian OXP is still active on these boards if you have questions. The Italian OXP (which I've tried) does not work on modern Oolite. But I tried it when I played Oolite v.1.77.1 (from 2013), and it transmogrified most of what went on my screen into Italian for me and seemed to work just fine. The requires.plist inside the OXP requires Oolite v.1.73 (from 2009), but there were two earlier versions of the OXP which might have worked on older Oolite versions.
Be aware that as the Oolite versions progressed, they (i) allowed more and more of the vanilla game code to be overwritten by OXPs, and (ii) introduced more javascripting capabilities. A result was that older OXPs needed to be updated to allow for changes.
