Are you sure you posted to the right board? Sounds like it was meant for slashdot or some such...
Beware of the trolls...

This may be more 'concentrated' comparatively, but I see little difference between Darkbee's comments towards Apple and the general contempt and distaste expressed frequently across these forums towards Microsoft...

That doesn't make it more appropriate though...

Sorry but by not calling attention to the MS-bashes, but suddenly finding the Apple-bash to be "inappropriate" or troll-ish renders the moral high-ground argument wreaking of hypocrisy and ultimately hollow.

<raises eye brow>Urm, right.</raises eye brow>
Just for the record I herewith request that all forum authors who inappropriately bashed MS in the past but whose posts I most and utterly regrettably missed feel equally repudiated. Especially if their posts were made to a thread which clearly deals with MS products and came from an author who clearly hates MS.
There. Friends?
Edit: Thanks, Darkbee.

I'm not here to start a riot, I'm just not opposed to expressing my opinion overtly from time to time, even if some find it upsetting.
Perhaps we could talk about a less controversial/sensitive topic like politics, religion or racism?

Happily.
I'll even buy the first round! (But one of you has to pay my airfare from the States...

It's too bad that Oolite is not as big as KDE or Wine, these teams get enough money together to have a yearly multi-day
party productive get-together where people even get their airfares paid for. Then again, maybe it's ok it's not as big...

Ahh… the thought of a three-day Oolite convention, in some nice sunny location, all expenses paid.

This thread seems to have gone all over to bashing phones and companies, but I still don't see any final answer to the original question:
Is anybody working on porting oolite to an iphone ?
How about Android ?
At least Android is based on linux and open source, so I guess it should be more straight-forward port...
Not that I have either of those, but I would consider buying one if it ran oolite
EDIT: OK, nevermind, I see in the other thread that it will not happen for legal reasons...
