Any reason why this structure is leaning more than a certain other tower in Pisa?

Didn't the said Captain have a natural lean of his own though at this point, due to the grav plate servicing issues of The Dubious Profit?

I'm thinking about renting some earthmoving equipment and digging a lake down there - we could then have the social club's picnics by the waterfront, under that copse...

... also, anchoring a warship in the middle and having a hybrid semi-sentient giant mecha lying on the bottom would be really cool...
