You are of course aware that the term "joystick" dates back to the early days of aviation.

There's an amount of waffle on the web about it's origin but given the fact that it is an English term and the nature of English humour I have never had any doubt that the word has a lewd origin.

I first came across the word when, aged about 12, I read the Biggles books. (I was 17 when Popular Electronics published a set of articles on building an Analogue Computer). "PC" did not exist as a term for either a computer or an obsession with possibly but hardly ever offensive words.
