Today is the 88th day of the year, which means it's Piano Day.
Beethoven's Piano Sonata No 8 should serve, methinks!

Eight is such a nice number!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Good choice. It struck me halfway that KISS once lifted that one theme into a song.

You steered me to listen to quite a bit of my collected piano works today. Schubert's Erlkönig was a fitting finale.

I was torn between that and Leyenda (which Robbie Krieger used to such good effect in Spanish Caravan).

Did you try Keeper's film?

Haven't played any of my pianos (I own three now) in quite some time, but I do arrange stuff for my MIDI-controlled player piano, e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxG4zzX56_g
Keeper composes his own music which used to be played by his good chum, Tom Brier, who got mangled in a car crash back in 2016.

Player pianos make weirdly hypnotic viewing.

nice, it always puts me off a bit at first with classical musicians ( not all of them) with the smug superior attitude . They take themselves too seriously.
Besides Beethoven would have killed to get a piano like that..

Arthur: OK. Leave this to me. I'm British. I know how to queue.

Nice? She's drop-dead gorgeous! More importantly, she plays beautifully!

Beethoven would've killed to get a Hammond organ with a volume control that went up to eleven!

Can you do fortissimo on a Hammmond? (besides turning it up to 11..)

I thought, as cool as it sounds, you can't express the force of pressure on the tangents, which may dissatisfy Beethoven. At least reconsider killing for it.

Really? In the southern hemisphere surely?
Guerilla gardening sounds a bit dangerous.
