Despite the fact that I'm a terrible shot and never use it, it never occurred to me to sell my pulse laser. I imagine the extra credits would help me get the more useful injectors much quicker.

Indeed - it can be very handy, that extra 400 Credits! Welcome aboard, Commander!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
