Nevermind on derailing... I bet you say that to all the bad boys. ;-)

On the coloured plumes... iirc, Griff used them for his newer 1.80 coreships and some of the alternates and extras like the Gnat and the updated Bug. I was using these as orientation for updating some of the alternates with it.

Speaking of it. I'm currently updating the extra ships to the new roles (when needed) and will bundle them up as well. After that I'll set up a wiki page.

Hej,

some small update to the extraship OXPs. The extraships are now available as oxz bundle from the ingame expansion manager, too. Some roles and ai_types were updated to be in compliance with Oolite v1.80.

will see to a wiki page asap.

Z_Groovy Viper Raider...

Hej,

just released a no shaders Z_Groovy's Viper Raider[1]. Updated the shipdatas added some nice engine trails. NPC Roles are a rare Pirate, Pirate-Interceptor or Pirate-aegis-raider.

I can't download Noshader Griff's extra ships from the expansion manager.
Looking in Latest.log:

23:14:48.867 [oxz.manager.error]: Downloaded OXZ does not have the same identifer and version as expected. This might be due to your manifests list being out of date - try updating it.

Glad it works now, Tichy. If you find bugs just say a word. I normally use the OXPs here, so I'm glad about reports about any glitch I might have introduced by bundling them as OXZs

I'm currently working on Dertien's Z_Groovy Stations to increase the variety of stations. Left: an alternate Cobra Mk1 approaching an old Icosahedron from Z_Groovy_systemstations, right: a Wolf MK2 queuing up at a recoloured Tetrahedron Depot from the SML stations. Both converted so they look nice on hardware with no shaders.

Hi,

I have recently installed this OXZ, and on several occasions now I have made contact with a religious fanatic Hognose. I know it is a religious fanatic because it adresses me in some strange code, expecting me to understand them... :)

In the Log file:
Player got message from Hognose 4259 : Dear [missionary01-enemy]. [missionary01-preach].
Player got message from Hognose 31896 : [missionary02-greeting] dear friend. [missionary02-preach]!
Player got message from Hognose 11495 : [missionary03-greeting]. [missionary03-Adjective] [missionary03-enemy]!

I know it isn't your OXP, but I don't know who else to ask. I also installed Shady Deepspace Ships. and keep getting strange looking Gecko's(all white)
in the log file it says:
[files.notFound]: ----- WARNING: Could not find texture file "Gecko_DS.png".
[files.notFound]: ----- WARNING: Could not find texture file "Gecko_DS_nm.png".
[files.notFound]: ----- WARNING: Could not find texture file "Gecko_DS_fx.png".

Thanks for the feedback. Hmmh, I know the hognose oxp works... I'll have a look what's going on with the oxz

About the Deepspace ships. Looks like a Upper/lowercase problem. Check for the names in the Textures directory

You should include descriptions.plist from griff_hognose_v1.21.oxp into your noshaders_extraships.oxz, the AI plist of Hognose require random sentences.

Hi all,

as I already mentioned, I'm currently working on Dertien's great Z_GrOovy system and his SML stations. I uploaded the setup I'm currently using to test it. So far it seems to work here. If you like to give it a test run, the oxp is on my box account.

Some station you will come across additionally to the default system stations: e.g. greyish tetrahedron, icosaeder system stations and e.g. an octahedron station from the SML set.

/e1: put the station resources and the addon config as OXZ for installation within the expansion pack manager. (You need both(!) installed to work correctly)
/e2: The older greyish system stations have smaller docking bays, so be careful. And it helps a lot if you dock with external views or use the neo docklight oxp.
