Thanks Winston.

I've been referring to the original manual while doing the new manual. I also refer to the DW and Imprint novellas.

O dear, I messed up on the wiki.

Now there are 2 useless Commoditie(s) entries and an unrelated referal.

Aargh help delete them all!
(except for the correct Commodity one)

please?

there's 3 to choose from, but Commodities would be the most appropriately named one, eh?

commoditie looks like Nederlands spelling :D

also looks like you made a couple of different methods pages. among all the other high-energy activity. did you recently change your brand of coffee?

nah, I just had deadlines catching up to me.
You know what's the logical thing to do at those times: distract yourself with other stuff. ;)

I AM kinda destructed right now.
My presentation went well yesterday, toxetos for sister's wedding are available. Just got back from eating out with the family.
I really need to catch up on some Z's.....right.

anyhow: wiki
Yes you renamed the thing I see. 8)
I'm adding ALL (known) methods to the Methods...what-are-they page.
I put them in discussion for now, just have to organise them into functional groups.
Added a few AI-relative methods to your AI-howto page.
Right now I'm working in the elite fiction area, finding, linking stuff.
Tomorrow is another day for methods.

bump :p
All that stuff above is pase...

Wiki1:
Should I make a new template:Infobox_Laserstats_Oolite or somesuchname to diplay the stats of guns?
But I know nothing about their capacities...

-Title SomeLaser
-Default colour ?
-Range
-cycle rate: burst/min or continous
-Weapon energy/ power...differs per ship doesn't it. dam/burst or second?
-Heat capacity or something describing how fast it overheats.

wiki2:
I just made a modified template for missiles. :D
Now to make an OP that offers useless and usefull missiles with slightly varying stats. :) and different skins naturally...just a question of hacking Giles' hardhead missile and expanding upon it. :)

Hello all:
I added some descriptors to the "OXP Mission" section of the "Oolite Missions" page. It seemed like the thing to do. But being new to the Wiki-world, I did not realize that I first should have set up an account and logged in before changing content. Sorry for this breach of wiki-etiquette. New Year's resolution to have better manners already out the window.

isn't it time to spruce up a bit the mainpage?

I mean, IMHO the Wiki is already far more than halfway 'there', and it still has the generic wiki-logo...

You can do nice stuff with wiki-layout, if you work a bit on it, see for example:

http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoofdpagina (yeah, I'm Dutch speaking, but I rarely visit it, but still, I like how they differ in layout from their bigger brother)

 Do you ever do any other work besides Oolite-related stuff?

suggestion: a sub-sub category for the Oolite missions, and then for the most tricky ones a dedicated spoiler-page?

I won't jump and do that rightaway, there are probably reasons aplenty not do do this that I didn't figure...

is it easy to make 'folder' categories within the Oolite category? cause if so, maybe it would be an idea to separate the ooliteworld stuff from the oolite mechanics docustuff..?

and spoiler stuff sure.

Err...not really...apart from this.

In order to create a sub category under Oolite, you need to create a new category by using the format [[Category:SubOolite]] and include the line

[[Category:Oolite]]

at the beginning.

Yes, I know how it works, but would it be a good thing to do?
