Really, great job Selezen. I'm thinking these might make good christmas tree ornaments. :)
I was going to hang them from the ceiling - I wonder if I could make them out of inkjet printable transparencies - score them - and put a battery and an LED inside them...

that'd be cool. a cheap cut-price alternative would be some glow in the dark paint, would give a nice ghostly whitegreen glow.

Great scott, the Cargo Canister model is finished and ready to build! It comes in two versions in the one model - the standard "display model" and a practical one with an opening lid for putting your contraband in.

Customisation is good! Why not build them then spray them gold and silver for that "Christmas decoration" effect?

I used to light up some plastic kits, and as long as you're careful with heat distribution it'll work with paper models too. Just line the inside of the model panels with aluminium foil and use grain of wheat LEDs for formation lights and a big white LED for interior lighting with maybe a blue and red LED next to each other for the engine lights. Cut out windows, solar panels and engine exhausts and cover the holes with clear plastic (OHP film is good). Cover the inside of the OHP film with tracing paper to make it opaque, or feel free to create interior detailing kits. Which, one day, might be fun to do...

Damn slow work on the Transporter at the moment, guys, sorry about that. Texture is finished now, all left to do is the tabs and the building guide.

The other half is away in Kent for the weekend, so I should be able to get LOADS done in the evenings, meaning that if the Gods are with me I should have the set finished by Monday.

Would it be possible to have all the paper models downloadable in one file, instead of individual downloads? :D
