Now the question is Wildeblood, Did you manually hit the ECM or was it an automatic ECM by a piece of equipment? Much respect if was manual. 8)
And if it was a piece of equipment, it was worth the price paid. :D
There's equipment to automatically fire the ECM? Why wasn't I told?

I was testing the version of Sniper Sight I'll upload tonight, so there were no equipment OXPs except that. The fading red dot near the target is where a Fer-de-Lance had been a moment before; I destroyed it and, as usual, it released a missile as it died. The ident computer locked onto the missile instantly, before the Sniper Sight switch back to the normal HUD could happen; I hesitated for a moment, thinking my tinkering had broken the switching script again, then I realized what had happened and hit the ECM button, just in the nick of time.

Nice shot El Viejo, TAF assisted? I tried for a while to get a good one of the effect but never quite hit pause at the right spot.
I think there's a way for a script to trigger the creation of a screenshot...and a decent script can catch the right moment better than hitting pause.

There are quite a few OXPs that can automatically trigger your ship's ECM when a missile is fired at your ship. I even made one. Some even do other things besides just ECM, like drop chaff or fire a counter-missile at the incoming missile.

I'm actually outraged by that suggestion... my pics are taken at normal speed in normal gameplay!

Mmm looking strange on the first image. But is is not intended to replace the station but to compliment it.
Although I probably also want to hardcode the super hubs across the eight so they stay permanent around some high tech planets.

But atm I don't have the time and energy for it. If someone wants to 'adopt' the OXP then feel free.

Transparent, so you get to see the inside instead of the closest exterior you should be seeing. The same thing happens on my computer. Capt Kev's Dodo stations suffers the same way. It's a problem with the materials/shaders. A lot of really nice ship model OXPs are ruined the same way.

Did some tinkering with System Redux... cleared all the nebulae, upped the starcount, and dropped the lighting down low.
This planet looks beautiful in crescent phase... but looks can be deceptive, as this is Ladigeso, which can be a nasty system:
