Can anyone tell me if NPC ships can have a heat insulation value of greater than 2.0 or is it capped at 2.0?

NPC ships can have any heat insulation value. 12.5 is sufficient to survive indefinitely just above the star's surface (except in nova systems)

Griff's Elite Bug isn't golden... but it looks quite 'bug-like'!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

I'm quite looking forward to getting my teeth in to this one.

Further to some help and advice I received from both Griff and Thargoid I will be including shader effects in this OXP (But I will also provide a full emission map for those who can’t run shaders).

I thought that I would posts some screenshots showing current progress from a test version of my latest ship OXP, the Arachnid Mark 1, which is intended to be similar in specification to a Cobra Mark 3.

I still have a little work to do on this one but it's not too far off now :D
