With Christmas now behind us, things can turn normal again.

So to sum it all up,

a rhyme was shown

(It is the right tiMe
for a nonSensical rhyme,
the solUtioN, i am sure
will fOrever endure.
Modern it is not, and will not be for ever more.
Enjoy this riddle, and may thee find thine lore.)

and I just realised that there was a mistake in it!!!

the right rhyme should have been:

It is the right tiMe
for a nonSensical rhyme,
the solUtioN, i am sure
will fOrever endure.
Modern it is not, and will not be for ever more,
enjoy this riddle, and may thee find thine lore.

My apologies, all!!!!

The key for the solutions remain:

London and Wellington (amongst others).

there must be a reason why some seemingly random letters are capitalised. but i can make neither head nor tail with them.....

The key is indeed Capitals of which there are 7.

They form one word which are linked to several words in my musings but will form the title of a book (tome), written a long time ago in a different language. The work is a first (according to some).

As a new hint: the work is also linked to 'sleepless nights'.

I had the anagram (or so I thought), but all I could get from it was Monimus (the ancient Greek cynic).
Now you say 'sleepless nights' - Insom-something?

I just LUUUUUVVV Christmas spirit(s).
Ok, Cody, by popular request ... over to you!!!!

And again apologies for the typo's. Somehow my smartphone is so smart that it thinks it knows better what I want to write than me!

Somnium was indeed the work I was looking for, which, according to Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov was the first true (hard) SF work.

As an aside (and while I think of a question), Reykjavik is home to the Icelandic Phallological Museum, which has the world's largest collection of todgers, big and small.

Staying cryptic, name the title of this Nebula Award-nominated novel: a colourful attraction?
