Hey, where's the Racing League? Was there an OXP? Was there a mechanics' strike that put the kybosh on the racing season? What happened?

Cap'n H was sucked into a RL(tm) vortex and hasn't re-emerged. I think, as it was his baby, we thought we'd wait for him to pop back out, but perhaps that time has passed?
