On another thread here P A Groove offered a large (6Km) 'Thargoid Planet Invader' to anyone who wanted it. It was just what I needed for my current OXP project, so I snapped it up.
It has a model by ADCK and had a P A Groove texture. For various reasons I decided to re-texture it from scratch, but re-used much of PAG's excellent artwork in the final version.
Meet the Thargoid Annihilator.

Good luck... just to give an idea of the size of that saucer, it was right on the rim of my scanner when I took this pic:

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Giving it a dockingAI would be fun to watch.

I can imagine the Snoopers headline - 'Alien Angle Grinder carves up Coriolis'.

Not more than for all the other giant ships out there.

And I for one am more than happy that we have made successful steps towards eliminating impossible dockings.

He, yes.-)
Currently we are a bit undecided if we want to add costly "blowup parts" at all.

The main reason for the whole remodel/retexture/reshaderify orgy was to get rid of the shader swapping. Seems to be successful. Ok, we have moved now to texture swapping, but hey!

Edit: Anyway - the new station seems to run a lot smoother .-)
