Sorry to hear this Mandoman I hope that after a little break you reconsider and continue posting on the forum but this is of course your decision and I, as a fellow ship designer, wish you all the best whatever you decide to do in the long term.

One thing to consider is that everyone has their own taste and style and whatever ship we, as oxp writers, produce will not be everyone's cup of tea. Then again that is the beauty of oxps it is every player's choice which they install.

I'll not be a stranger, Mandoman! Looking forward to more ships from you, no matter how I get them!

I will release ships that people state a real interest in. The Sunbird, while I like it, didn't really get that much response before I released it, so it might have been a mistake to do so.

I have just released a ship named Petra, and since interest was shown in my flying sub ship, I'm working on getting that released as well. I also have the MadotechDogFighters combo pack, which consist of four ships of various size, the MT650Terrier, the MT850Bulldog, the MT950Mastif, and the MT1012Pitbull. They are of a similar type, but different sizes, speeds, and capabilities.

I appreciate it that many of you like the ships I make, and apologize for my bad temper.

Hereby stating interest in the "Worldship", which was really fab.

This is the mother ship from Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, or I should say, a facsimile of that ship. There are a lot of differences, mainly due to the fact that it had to be Oolitesized. While it is over three times the size of the MT1024Explorer (Flying Sub imitation), it is not as big as the mother sub. in the TV series. I call it the VTBSCruiser. Here are a few pics.

Nice, very nice.

I'm a sucker for starships that have a nautical navy look about them (particularly war ships).

I love the front, the swell is great, she looks heavy as heck.
Imagine ramming that beast into a station.

I understand you chose the colors for a good reason but I'd love to see this baby in battleship grey with some navy markings, I would add this to my navy roster in a heartbeat.

If you got a graphics program, it ain't that difficult. Now that you mention it, think I'll add a ship like that in my personal copy of the 249th.

The 249th are boss, they saved my life once.

Anyways...
I'm no shipwright, I can use the wings3d program fine, but it takes more than that to make cool designs.
I can re-texture existing models pretty well now and do so often for my own game (GalNavy oxp is my current task), but I can't build or script the things for beans.

I don't like every ship from MTI but usually ones that I do like, I really like.

Like that VTBSCruiser... do want!

I'm planning on releasing the VTBSCruiser, and the MT1024Explorer as a package. Both ships will be player ships, as well as NPC. I hear ya about scripting, superbatprime. I haven't been able to produce a workable script yet. Not sure I ever will.

/glee! :D

Can't wait to see that cruiser in my Ooniverse.

Oh yeah, other thing... I'm not seeing any Mandotech Industries stuff in the wiki Ship OXP section?
You're a pretty prolific manufacturer, it would make tracking MTI releases for users a bit easier (maybe I missed it, I do that).
