As far as I can remember, in the previous version of BB a new user could not post a personal web site when they are registered.
Forcing that again may be solution to the spammers with @^... web sites.

CAPTCHA stroke again. After exactly 0 failed attempts to log in I had to type the well-known words 'cknoor' and 'hehenglasl' in order be accepted into this illustrious boards.
Unfortunately there seem to be two pages missing from my dictionary, and by a strange coincidence it seems to be just the pages containing these words. So I am not able to establish their exact meaning. Fortunately it doesn't seem necessary to know the words, typing them sufficed.
I'm not looking forward too joyfully to repeating this exercise once a week or so, though. You see, my login details are automatically supplied by my browser, therefore I tend to forget my password, and find it a little annoying to look it up again for each CAPTCHA, because the CAPTCHA page seems to be exempt from the auto-filling routine.

Ditto. It got me this morning. My login is controlled by the Opera 'wand', so when I open the BB it automatically logs me in immediately. Not today, however. Like McLane I had to search out my password and then fill in two captchas that had more in common with Thargoid than English.
I hope it doesn't happen again.

This is of course an absolute logical and convincing explanation. Why didn't I notice?
I'm relieved that my English dictionary doesn't seem to have missing pages after all. My Thargoid dictionary on the other hand...
